I am not sure as to what I am. I do believe in God, however I dont do the church thing and if I do its very rare. However I do not know where I stand on the whole heaven/hell thing.

nondenominational christians definitely mention jesus and use the bible in their services

and comments like these are the reason why people shy away from religion (whatever it may be) in the first place. perfect example of how it just breeds prejudice, hate, etc etc

Quote :
"Baptist. Yep the non-denominational stuff is crap. I can't stand going to these new-age churches and seeing them change the service all around. They are crap too. I like traditional churches not wierdo's in cut up blue jeans singing the whole time.
"

(ok we aren't supposed to argue so that is my last comment)

I'm not part of any religion, I think there could possibly have been some creator, but other than that most of religion is entire bullshit, and praying isn't going to solve your problems or help anybody elses.

So...agnostic?

Born and raised Catholic. But mostly I just on holidays.

I enjoy a good Presbyterian church too, thanks to my last two girlfriends.

agnostic, at best.

Religion as a dogmatic and unquestioning expression of truth probably isn't the best thing humanity has ever encountered. Of course, abstract nihilistism, statism, and post-modernism do a poor job of filling the hole.

Some say science is the new religion, but for science to hold any value at all, it must bathe itself in the doubt that religion abhors.

If you say you're agnostic would you expand a little bit? Most people who label themselves as agnostic are actually atheist but are afraid of being labeled as such.

grew up methodist. prefer contemporary/non-denominational (not the "open to all religions" ones). Though, I don't currently go to church or practice for that matter.....

I think traditional churches suck, are boring as hell, full of stupid politics, hypocritical to no end, and some of the worst musical choices one can make.

Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul gets flung onto a roof, and cannot be retrieved.
