I don't donate blood any more. I donate platelets.
^^Yes, but you can't count on getting the results. You might only be told "Your blood was unusable, and you're not allowed to donate for X months."

If you donate at Rex they will call you and let you know that one of the tests came back positive and tell you you should consult a doctor. I asked them one day because I was curious what happened if something did come back positive

I have to drink tons of water to get my hematocrit level low enough to donate plasma.
