damn it seems like forever since I had one of those half-cooked, runny omelets from fountain.

we used to have our buddy that played baseball bring us back food from Case whenever they had steak. that was the shit.

I have to say, I've eaten cafeteria scrambled eggs in many locations and Fountain most often got them the right consistency.

I never had Fountain eggs, but the Clark ones looked like yellow cat litter, and that bothered me. I could never figure out why they chopped them up into the tiniest possible egg granules.

they're made from liquid eggs, poured out of a carton like milk. It sounds gross but it's just blended, pasteurized eggs. Quicker and less messy than cracking 50 dozen eggs every morning.

i always got the 8 meals/week plan...my parents were concerned i wasn't eating enough

i'd go in once a day, usually lunch, and just eat for an hour while working on my homework...i'd also throw apples or other fruit into my bag and fill up my 48oz nalgene with half juice and half water (too much juice is bad for you, with all that sugar) and i'd be good until the next day

i lost 20lbs my first year

^^ ha! I did the exact same thing, with the occasional cappuccino from the machine in the C-store to tide me over. It sucked to be hungry most of the time, but on a good note I'd go to bed earlier to make breakfast come sooner. Didn't lose any weight though. If there's every a nuclear winter I'll probably survive.

I'm pretty sure there's crack in those.

I love the eggs from the carton. It's the only way to get a great Ham/Egg/Cheese sammich

^^ ha ha ha ha. although they are delicious, as a former coffee shop employee I have to complain that they give people (including myself) a very misguided idea of what a cappuccino actually is

I loved Fountain back in the day. I lived in Owen and Bragaw my first two years and used to go there for dinner almost every day. My stomach never had any problems with it.

The "Meaty Lasagna" was actually really fucking delicious last night. I was surprised.

Also, the people on the grill in the corner making the burgers are much better this year than they have been in the past.

When I lived in Bowen my freshman year (the only year I lived on campus), we'd always get a group of friends and go eat in Fountain. Always awesome. Having the menu for the week online was good too, because some nights we'd know it sucked and would go elsewhere to eat.

jethromoore and iceshopmafia were part of the group

The geniuses at fountain keep putting cheese on the vegan option. Jerks.

^^Dinner with friends is really the only reason to ever go to fountain. Especially since it's a toss-up as to whether or not the food will be worth eating.

fountain brunch on the weekends is the best after a night of partying

wake up at 1 and go get some brunch and discuss the shenanigans from the night before
