Yes.

http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.dom.php

It takes a little getting used to, because it's not as straight forward as it is in JavaScript, but the DOMDocument stuff does work and pretty well.

That said, if you give it bad XML it doesn't play nicely.

No, we're not reading your posts anymore. Remember that time you presented a tool with no UI? Oh yeah that was an hour ago.

k, this may be a bit more useful:

http://e00.us/ncsu/opensec.php?sem=s&pre=bio&num=183&f=rss

this will give you an RSS feed of the open section inquiry output for a particular class.

sem can be s, f, s1, or s2 (spring, fall, summer 1, summer 2)
pre and num are self explanatory
f can be rss, xml, json, or php

the guid of the items is based on the current seat counts so your RSS feed reader should show a particular section as a new item if its seat count changes.

the 2nd revision is just as useless - who are these people that you think are your target audience - this would even fail in tech talk

how, exactly, is this useless?

people drop classes all the time during the first days of classes, everyone knows that. add this to your feed reader, and it will let you know whenever a seat becomes available so you can go grab it.

my target audience is me. i'm posting it here because i thought maybe someone else might find it useful.

do you ever have anything nice to say, omar?
