Some brothers don't be coming right
I understand, I'm feeling you
Besides, 'can I have a dance?' ain't really that original

i hope someone mentioned clipse and murs/murs and 9th wonder

i'm not scrolling through everything to see. most of the stuff i see mentioned i've moved on from. aesop rock, sage francis type stuff. i guess i'm just over the angry white guy. not that they aren't talented, i am just over it.

i definitely went through a phase a few years ago where like ALL i listened to was sage francis/non-prophets, aesop rock, atmosphere, eyedea and abilities, blackalicious, gangstarr, talib, common, etc etc

stuff i listen to more regularly now is like t.i., ghostface, clipse, lil wayne, nas, murs/murs and 9th wonder. i'm sure i'm missing a few.

i don't listen to a lot of rap/hip hop at all anymore.

Love Slum Village.

TI is about the only recent mainstream rapper I listen to. Don't think he's that great, just really like the tracks off of Paper Trail. Really catchy.

And I can't stop listening to Q-tip right now. Love "The Renaissance", have re-discovered "Amplified", and just found an album that was unreleased "Kamaal the Abstract" that has easily become one of my favorites.

Other than that, the rest of my current playlist consists of Tribe, People Under the Stairs, Cool Calm Pete, Atmosphere, Styles of Beyond, Junk Science, etc.
