i miss my dog, too. she also happens to be in charlotte staying with my parents until i get back from vacation.

it's kinda sad but i live in BFE and work on my own 99% of the time, so many days she's the only thing i have to interact with.

i look forward to taking her to the dog park when i get back for the holidays.

Animals are just like computers. They have no soul and no mystical sense of anything beyond what goes in their stomachs.

I gotta say, every time I see a thread about dogs, I go in looking for whatever asinine bullshit GGMon will inevitably have to say, and he does not disappoint!

Miss my dog. She died from bloat several years ago. Stomach did a 360 in her chest because the POS vet that fixed it the first time didn't tack her stomach down right.

As a puppy

Bringing the cute

Chilling with the cat

Trying to go to school with me.

She was pretty chill for a German shepherd. No way I can get another dog until I get out of grad school and that's what makes it suck so bad. Just don't have time to deal with all the new dog training (even if I got a trained adult, still have to get them used to you and the house rules).

The exact same thing happened to my dane Peyton. He had 3 surgeries over the course of 2008 and seemed to make a good recovery before quietly passing away on Sept 8.

RIP little buddy

Not long after I got another dane from a breeder near Wilmington:

That's Butler the week that I got him around 17 pounds. He'll be 6 months old on 1/24 and is almost 80 pounds.
