that was my shit. Loved a lot of Judy Blume's. I was a big fan of the Amelia Bedelia and Bernstein Bears series also. Then when I got a little bit older I was into the Babysitter's Club, Goosebumps, and Fear Street. Fear Street was the shit back in the day.

Who Killed Harlowe Thrombey for the win.
Dragon's Milk by Susan Fletcher really got me in to fantasy, I had that before I got into the Hobbit. I STILL bust that one out every so often.
I didn't stay on R. L. Stein for too long, I graduated to Christopher Pike early. Last Vampire series, the Remember Me trilogy, THE GOD DAMN CHAIN LETTER BOOKS THAT MADE ME PARANOID ABOUT ALL MY FRIENDS. *shudder* Those were fucking masterpieces.
While I had read a lot of Heinlen's Juveniles, like Podkayne, Starship, Red Planet, and even crap like Have Space Suit Will Travel, I didn't really get into science fiction until I read The Boy Who Reversed Himself by William Sleator. Old book, but it was a lot more age-appropriate, and for some reason, I attached on to dimensional travel a lot easier than space travel.

So many good ones already...Caps for Sale, Monster at the End of this Book, Ping, Poky Little Puppy when I was a small child, Encyclopedia Brown, Hardy Boys, Mouse and the Motorcycle, Bunnicula, Indian in the Cupboard when I was a bit older...and Seuss and Silverstein are perennial classics.
