Yeah, I did most of it, although no, that sort of stuff is not really my thing. There were a couple of things I had some help with (the RAID array being the big one. I knew what I wanted, but I knew configuring it was probably over my head).

my first computer was just a pieced together thing in 2000. unless you count the NES, which was the first console that was my own (well shared with my older brother)

Tandy Color Computer. I first learned BASIC on that thing... 'twas freaking awesome, especially when I added a 5.25" floppy drive!!!!11!one
