I don't know, probably. I'm assuming that unless her mother doesn't something really egregiously bad (like criminal charges or something), it will be very difficult, especially as long as I'm an active duty Marine (I mean, I'm in my 3rd month of a 6 month deployment right now...scheduled for 6 more months starting 10 months after I get back, with 3-4 weeks of training exercises in Yuma in the middle. Even in peacetime, I'd still spend 25% of my time deployed if I was in a squadron at the time). Hopefully my daughter will, as she gets older, eventually just decide that she wants to live with me.
