A juvenile incarceration - which would be a "secret" (or at least something that a standard background check is not allowed to reveal) - might include a sentence of longer than 3 months. Yes, it's in the past, but you still don't want something you did when you were 17 coming up when you're, say, 22 and applying for a real job.

today people on MARTA were openly talking about their recent jail-time exploits, comparing stories, favorite jail meals, (apparently some jails are offering 3 squares while others only give you two bologna sandwiches a day), which jails allow smoking. it was like you and i would would discuss beer specials at our favorite bars, except it was about jail. everyone else was like

The Brookhaven station is at the end of the N Druid Hills at Peachtree. You can get off at midtown or transfer at 5points and get off...somewhere, i think there's a fairly close tech stop on the westbound line. a friend of mine used it all the time to get to tech. (I live on N. Druid, btw.) I only use when going downtown or to the airport. it doesn't go far enough south to go to work.

marta is so slow and inefficient. the last 3 times ive ridden it i have been delayed due to mechanical failures

im in midtown near peachtree & 14th so it's quicker for me to drive anywhere i need to go

if i had my way marta would go all the way to woodstock, athens, north gwinnett, peachtree city, macon and ga 316 would have been 785 with 6 lanes all the way to athens

the fine citizens of gwinnette keep voting to keep marta out of their county. their afraid of the rift raft drifting in.

yeah, i don't take it if i need to be somewhere at a certain time, but it works well enough to avoid the hassle of parking and traffic on the weekends if there's something going on. plus, i'm not baller enough for a cab.

^ i dont really know why gwinnett is afraid of the riff raff, have you seen some of the people driving up 85 with gwinnett county tags?

if the traffic is going to be bad, it is convenient to go to the airport. but every other time it's too much of a pain. i'd rather call a taxi than have to ride the marta
