Yea angle of photo, and I couldnt get the three canvases to line up straight plus I have no patience
haha thanks joel. I used to do art all the time and was getting good. They say you dont grow unless you work at it a lot, after 5 years or so I'm back into deep. I'm not amazing which is why I'm asking what people would pay for my stuff. Only way to learn if I've got it is to put it out there.

well, in all seriousness, whether he's deserved his fame. . .Pollack did his work during an era when abstract expression was like 'WAT?', socially. pretty much, if you did anything in the 50s that was unnerving, unsettling, or confusing artistically, you were going to be famous by the 60s.
i mean, seriously.

yeah, those definitely are NOT Pollack pieces, gunzz.
also, Pollack used several techniques. he wasn't just splatting paint on a canvas. the beauty of pollack was that he was ever expressive, and often would observe his pieces for hours upon "completion" only to find it didn't quite convey what he wanted. he'd often just take a straw or something and drizzle what to us would seem completely inconsequential, but to him meant completion--a full conveyance of something. something completely internal, that we'll never fucking get.
that's why he wins.
^oh yeah.
I'd love some Pollack pieces. . .but yeah, paying in the fucking millions for ANYTHING is retarded. especially someone's painting.

Knowing who someone is is one thing, and if you don't it's excusable
critiquing someone else's work is another thing entirely
a true artist doesn't talk shit about someone else's work and then proceed to make ludicrous claims about how they could do the same thing
you know why?
BECAUSE A REAL FUCKING ARTIST PUTS THEIR EMOTIONS INTO WHAT THEY DO
AND AS A RESULT, NO ONE CAN FUCKING REPLICATE IT
ESPECIALLY NOT SOME 4TH GRADE LEVEL ART CLASS DROPOUT WITH SOME SHIT CANVASS SHE BOUGHT AT MICHAEL'S WITH SOME SHIT GRADE WORK POSTING ON THE FUCKING WOLFWEB.

i don't think pollack was a user. he was, however, FUCKED up; a VERY internalizing, private person.
^oh lord. you're really throwing "emo" out there? ok, get out. seriously, now you're just attempting to mock and deride the emotionality of expressive art because yours is devoid of any. true art is absolute shit without emotion.
get. out.
