he was making a point, which you obviously got. since its you who doesn't care that chivalry is dead it doesn't mean that there aren't women out there who are very concerned about this very thing. furthermore this woman is not alone in her quest for equality while simultaneously having every entitlement granted to her without effort.

I know she isn't the only one who feels entitled to special treatment... and I never made any statement that suggested I thought she was the only one

I was commenting that the special treatment for women should be done away with in general so these girls don't think they're obligated to this continued pampering

there's nothing wrong with chivalry at all, but it's best to treat everyone with some common courtesy, not just women

When I was new to the buses, I often wondered if I was supposed to give my seat to a chick. I never (or rarely, can't remember) did, basically going off what everyone else on the bus did on a day to day basis. I would feel kinda guilty if it was only chicks standing, but how would I choose which chick to give my seat to

Now I don't give a fuck. If someone comes along that needs a seat I'll give mine up

there is a simple solution, if this girl puts out to every guy she meets, she's bound to get some special treatment eventually.

but on a serious note, I only ride the engineering bus and there may be 3 girls on it and they are all sitting but I guess if one was standing close to me i'd give her my seat.
