I think I was there when this happened. If I wasn't, I watched some other guy get detained for a while...maybe not arrested.

Only reason the cops were out there in the first place was because everyone basically made a firing line with the cars that came driving through.

Imagine 60-70 people hurling snow/ice balls at every truck or car that came by from almost point blank. It seemed more fine when they were chucking from the sidewalks, but the crowd got more aggressive and started running into the street to get as close as possible.

People driving just had to drive right through. Heaven help you if you decided to stop

Apparently, chucking snowballs at cars is damage to property. My buddy was given a warning for it.

That said, I think the cop was making an example out of the guy to try to tone the crowd down. We were pretty rowdy.
