I came in to post Travelers and then I read your first post...

For reference I pay Travelers about $1,900/yr for my vehicle (2007 BMW 550):
liability: 250,000/500,000
property: 100,000
medical: 50,000
underinsured: 250,000/500,000

that price also includes a 2m personal liability umbrella. I only get a 10% discount for having homeowners insurance with travelers, too.

I think my price is high for a couple of reasons. 1) I'm prone to accidents. I've been in a few in the last 5 years, although none of which were my fault. i have no tickets either. 2) I'm a disabled driver, although it's against the law, I realize I'm probably more of a risk than others. no 10 & 2 for me, and i have half the peripheral vision of normal people. it sucks, but i can't really blame them.
