i agree on some levels and disagree on other levels. I know you are talking about these big fanfare productions and yes obviously these people are making a ton of money and a lot of them think they are more important than they are. But especially in music, most of my favorite bands that have impacted me a lot in my life all make/made significantly less than I do per year per band member.

And, while a lot of them are overpaid, I have to say that music, books, movies are all giving something very valuable to society. There are all kinds of different desires and needs in society and art certainly fills a certain void. I know for one that my life would be completely different (and ultimate pretty boring) if music especially wasnt a part of it.

Obviously everyone puts value in different things so we won't agree 100% and I understand that.
