Guess you never thought of the world's most refined predator...who happens to hunt alone, and is very much an individual. No pack mentality there. Lotsa mystery.

And one who is not so stupid as to continually try to please you when it's obvious that you're going to feed it and give it a warm place to sleep regardless.

Cats are no pets. They're roommates, compadres, partners in crime. They hang around you because you're good company for them, not because they are ass kissers. And I hate a damn ass kisser.

All this being said, I also have a labradoodle.

^ Sweet. Once I train the boyfriend's cat to walk on a leash and use the toilet I'll be ok with having her around. At that point they are pretty much like having a hard to train dog around.

i agree, i would never have a wild cat, but i would like one of the more exotic cats
