I like the good ol days and all, but i like my girls to be whores or classy. Not some weird in-between shit.

Take one of those pole dancing/striptease classes at a gym. Seriously. You'll learn a little about how to seductively move your body.

Maybe take a few shots before you hit the stage to loosen you up too

I guess I kind of understand the whole "historic" aspect of it, but this sort of thing does absolutely nothing for me, sexually or aesthetically.

I don't really drink, so that's not an option

I was a classically trained ballerina for 18 years, so I'm used to very controlled movements. Losening up is harder to do, since I'm a relatively shy and reserved person so my on stage persona is WAY different than the normal me. My other burlesque friends drink a lot before shows but I don't just because I'd probably fall off stage or something.

My full time job is working for L'Oreal but make quite a bit of extra $ doing this...which I usually spend on new lingerie and what not haha.

My boyfriend hates it.

Well try the classes....hell go buy the Carmen Electra videos or something haha. Also you should do more things in heels, you seem a little awkward walking in them at times. Gotta be smooooth

Ballerinas are controlled, but the movements are also fluid. I wouldn't say that about yours

I enjoy the whole burlesque thing because I think it's cute. It's not a turn on or anything, and I don't have the body at all to do it...OR I WOULD haha.

didn't watch it, but I agree on taking a pole dancing/striptease class. It might also help to go to some clubs with your boyfriend and learn how to loosen up and dance like the people around you.

Also, you need regular internet access so you can go research and watch GOOD, flowing, seductive dancers and compare to your own performances for improvements.

The first time I performed at Legends I was the only real female performing that night. When I came out on stage everyone was really confused because they didn't understand why a real girl was there haha.

when you are removing an article, stand still. draws more attention to the thing that you're taking off.

like everyone has said, slow down.

try dancing in front of a mirror to some slow grind-make sex music at home. know how your body works, and use your dance background.

bend at the waist if you're going to pick something up.

you look a little stiff in those shoes, are they comfortable? you look the way i feel when i wear stockings in heels--like every step is a little slide-y. i feel like your steps are also too small, which gives the impression that you are stocky.

for the fan dance, try to find a way to remove your articles while holding the fan in front of you and only give away your tot tots at the end. you know, make it suspenseful.

gosh, I love classically voluptuous women like that...thou art exquisite, dear

regarding the dance itself, I just fast-forwarded to the end and saw that you didn't get naked and then closed the window

Very often. He has acquired a corset fetish thanks to me.

I've never had an ass. No amount of lunges will help.

The movements were very stiff and unemotional, as well as the stripping. Kinda like pretty much how every girl strips in her bedroom at night + 10% sexier. So, nothing really. Removed items of clothing were discarded like they were nothing, without trying to make the discarding process look sexy or dramatic (and the removal of items themselves was also boring and normal). As I said, how every girls strips at night.

These people converted the thoughts in my head into words:

Quote :
"but my main critique is that it might be better to have a chair up there, to be able to do the stocking strip sitting on the chair, and then not have to awkwardly get up from the stage ledge."
Quote :
"Eh, personally I think you need to slow your movements down, be a little more sensual."
Quote :
"more walking around - no excitement - no talent whatsoever - it just looks like any half decent looking girl could do what you do"
Quote :
"you showed no emotion whatsoever - very bland"
Quote :
"Draping the hose around your shoulders isn't sexy. "
Quote :
"Lose some weight and listen to Shadowrunner. That is all."
Quote :
"I guess I kind of understand the whole "historic" aspect of it, but this sort of thing does absolutely nothing for me, sexually or aesthetically."
Quote :
"Ballerinas are controlled, but the movements are also fluid. I wouldn't say that about yours "

Ebay, Victoria's Secret, random places...most I buy and then add to. Corsets are from Versatilefashions.com but they are pricey. Stockings I buy in bulk from Ebay because I go through them like crazy. Same with lashes.
