Depends what you're looking for. In general I'd take redneck over nerd, they're fun as hell sometimes

Ignorance is bliss I guess.

^ worlds more than ECEI think CE has the most women of engineering followed by CHE (not sure about TE...)[Edited on February 1, 2009 at 11:22 PM. Reason : ]

Civil? I would doubt it. CHE does pretty well, but BME wins hands down.
2/1/2009 11:24:44 PM
BME is in a world of its own
2/1/2009 11:25:38 PM
I'd like to add "go outside".My friends (all CSC graduates, like me) can't be bothered for a trip to a park, the mountains, or any place that involves a lot of walking that isn't a theme park. For the beach, one wants to drive down there and come back the same day because he'll get his fill within 3-6 hours.Gah, I'm pathetically glued to video games and laptop and I'm still aghast at dealing with getting these people out of the house.

actually, i've never met a nerdy TEA+++ engineers, would meet again
2/1/2009 11:40:16 PM
I've never met a nerdy TE
2/1/2009 11:41:06 PM
hahahasweet!actually, most of us were nerds, but everyone was at least somewhat social.according to this, super legit looking, website (http://www.univsource.com/textile.htm) there are 6 schools with TE accreditation

i love that this one made pg. 2 before the original one didi shall contribute-have a candid/not-serious conversation-have a relationship (see above)-have other not-smart friends and let them intermingle

2/1/2009 11:49:16 PM
haha, the ENEs i've dealt with all specialized in ways to get around environmental restrictions
2/1/2009 11:49:55 PM
Exactly. They figure out how to use the land to build stuff on it.If you need a wingman dude, hit me up. I've helped out Marshall, Levi, Matt, Wasko, and Mike Grantham. I've tried to help out Dan many many times but he will never go talk to them after I break the ice.
2/1/2009 11:51:54 PM

^I'd actually agree with his statement. CPE/EE probably has the lowest percentage of girls of any of the Engineering majors.
2/2/2009 10:12:51 AM
fuck those country ass fat ass ag women. the BME crowd coming in as freshman this past year seem to be getting more attractive. i've heard things about shit like communications and poly sci though (concern %women) that make me
2/2/2009 10:19:11 AM
CSC's ratio of girls is skewed by the massive number of female grad students (last I heard the grad student ratio was >50% female). Having been in both EE and CSC classes, I can say with some confidence that EE has a slightly higher ratio of girls for undergrad. But not by much.
