I'd like to add "go outside".

My friends (all CSC graduates, like me) can't be bothered for a trip to a park, the mountains, or any place that involves a lot of walking that isn't a theme park. For the beach, one wants to drive down there and come back the same day because he'll get his fill within 3-6 hours.

Gah, I'm pathetically glued to video games and laptop and I'm still aghast at dealing with getting these people out of the house.

ENE (environmental) has more women than CE but they have to take CE classes.

It's funny because they think that with a degree in ENE can help them save the environment but all they do is learn how to design landfills.

woah woah woah woah, back the fuck up, make sure you know the distinction between Computer Engineering and Computer Science

CPE/EE pales in comparison to the likes of the CSC department

there are actually a lot of normal pretty chill people in Computer Engineering, but I've only ever met one or two in CSC that I'd hang out with in public

however, CSC does have a higher ratio of girls, and attractive ones even, than the likes of CPE/EE

I can count the number of girls in the latter on one hand


now moving into grad school, it becomes 99% Indian, and as far as I can tell they have little interest in anything outside of their classes and studies, though they keep to themselves almost exclusively

CSC's ratio of girls is skewed by the massive number of female grad students (last I heard the grad student ratio was >50% female). Having been in both EE and CSC classes, I can say with some confidence that EE has a slightly higher ratio of girls for undergrad. But not by much.
