I can verify this. I got hit with one in Combat Town in Okinawa on the hand, basically the only part of my body that was uncovered at the very end of a 2 day exercise of not being hit at all. It hurt, but I wouldn't say it hurt that badly. Definitely broke the skin though, I have a scar from it, though it is barely noticeable unless you are specifically looking for it.

yeah, mostly it's just hits to the hands. you could probably catch one in the neck, though, if you were really unlucky. i saw a guy get hit right in the forehead one time, haha (there was about a half-inch gap between his facemask and his helmet). Couldn't have found a more deserving asshole, either.

sorry gunzz. some on here make me not want to post pics and the such just so i dont have to read the bullshit, STOP ATTENTION WHORING posts.

heres a video of my buddy doing the emergency manover drill. you get up to speed (50-60) the instructor tells you to "go to sleep" and you close your eyes, put your head down, and put your hands on your lap.

he then steers you off road, into a set of cones, etc. when you are 1 second away from hitting he says "wake up" and you have to figure out how to get back on the road or avoid the obstacles.

his nickname is now "speed dump" one of the many fantastic terms we heard repeatedly.
