its way too small to be a tarantula. Obviously dagreenone exaggerated in the thread title.

Also I must note that I doubt the little bugger actually came from Florida. Most likely its a native NC species. I ordered the fruit a few weeks ago, we've just been slow with eating it. The spider probably came from outside our apartment, and settled in the fruit box. I was pulling out some oranges, when I saw him in the box.
