I think it boils down to what's more annoying. A fly mosquito buzzing in your ear for 7 years, or someone stomping on your toe once.

Having said that, I don't really have a problem with Chance. and I would damn sure rather have him around than euphalo...

oh well hell that's an easy one.

it's because we as the moderators feel so threatened by him and we just can't withstand his never ending onslaught of superior, logical, and civil criticism about the way we moderate this site. he exposes too many tww secrets, and hurts too many feelings. that is why we always end up getting rid of him. i assure you it has NOTHING to do with him trolling and derailing threads everywhere he goes. sounds like he does that elsewhere on the internets and nobody has a problem with it there either.
