anyone else ever eaten at the BBQ Hut in fayetteville?? havent really had better, except for King's in Kinston

BBQ Lodge on Capital is quality. I usually go with my roommate and get the big family style sampler. You get refills on every dish, but we have never managed to finish a single one.

It generally sits in the fridge for a few days and ends up being about 4 separate meals.

Wilber's in Goldsboro should be included in this conversation.

In Raleigh, The Pit on Davie Street, downtown is worth a try.

Ole Time has good pork, but the sides need some work. They serve instant mased potatoes, surely they can do better than that.
