If you don't know shit, don't say shit.

BB has an entire line of shirts that is 5" trimmer in both waist and chest - their Slim line, which do not, under any circumstances, balloon anywhere.

BoDog doesn't realize that 90% of the people in this thread still live in the South and don't want to look like we live in New York (not to mention aren't in good enough shape to wear slim-fitted clothes).

I understand the "European"-look and what people wear in the big cities...but people don't dress like that down here. And you can still take some of those styles and fit it to the way people dress down here and still look nice.

But if we dress like you are saying...then we stick out like a sore thumb...and not in a good way whatsoever.

Now that all depends. If the OP is 5'10 and 150lbs. BB is gonna look like a fucking blanket on him. You're better off throwing that shit in the air and covering that big hole in the ozone layer.

Now if you're six foot and 180lbs then BB might work out for you.

brooks brothers is way overpriced for what it is.

as for bodog, i agree with most everything except:

women love argyle holmes. not saying i own any, but my gf almost forced me to buy an argyle sweater vest yesterday. i had to admit it was a classy look, if a little gay.

I mean I dress in "fitted" clothes and hate extra fabric (I get the girl to hem stuff that doesnt fall on me the way I like) and can pull it off but the whole "pathetic individual when it comes to in style fashion" was just ridiculous. Its almost as if he thought that the only way anyone should dress is to wear whatever is the coolest most in style clothes!

I've dressed the same (Jeans and a Tshirt with a button up now and then) since HS and have done just fine without ever wondering what GQ was telling me to wear.

And yea I like argyle, and the girl loves it on me so I have no problem wearing it. (In fact more than one girl who is a friend of mine commented really positively to a new argyle sweater I got for Christmas the first time I wore it).
