for a cognac, yes. its lacking in flavor has more bite and burn than any high end liquor should. Its serioulsy probably the fifth worst of the 15 cognacs i have tried I used to work in a fine dining restaurant and have been to a cognac dinner/tasting. I also tried many high end scotches while working there. The cognacs that were worse were hennessy vs courvo vs/vsop and martell vs
