^^^ you ever driven one?

It wouldn't be quicker in a straight line than my old turbo miata or supercharged s2000 (although it wouldn't be far behind, even in stock form), but without ever actually timing anything back to back, I'm thoroughly convinced that I would've been faster down almost any curvy section of road in my Evo than in either of those cars. Maybe a really good driver could've squeezed more out of the other two cars, but the Evo is FAST, and really, really easy to be fast in.

He's laughing because he pointed out in this thread or another that the IX had a hideous rear end and you went and commented on how it was a 'bad ass sedan.'

At least thats what I thought.

ah

I never thought there was anything really noteworthy about the rear end of a IX, other than the cartoonish wing.

a C5 'Vette...now THAT'S a hideous looking rear end (although I still like them, and overall a pretty good looking car)

How are you finding them on autotrader? I thought it just listed Lancers...or are you sorting through the piles of Lancer ads to find the Evos?

I think cars.com is the same way. Evo forums and craigslist are the places to look for Evos, in my book. eBay has some, but from what I've seen, you can usually get a better deal than eBay by lowballing someone advertising somewhere else. It's harder to just offer them a few grand below their reserve price...of course they aren't going to accept it (most of the time...ironically, that's exactly how I bought my Evo).

well if you pick all wheel drive or manual or set the price above 12k and 03-08 or search keyword Evo... it was pretty easy actually. Have you ever searched for a car online?

There isn't a single car made that doesn't have triple digit hp/torque. Oh wait do you think I own a smart car?

do you even know what triple digits means?

I thought bad ass sedans the phrase was funny. It had nothing to do with how ugly the evo is.

I liked the JDM tail lights better as they were proper.

I also liked the fact that the JDM car had digital HVAC controls instead of the wire driven ones on US models.

Petty, but I mean ...

ha, you have no idea.

i just couldn't remember offhand how autotrader discriminated, but seemed to remember it not having a specific Evo option...wondered if you had any good technique.

I wouldn't pick AWD as a discriminator, since so many people don't know what in the hell they have on their hands, anyway.

You need to go run one down a curvy road. There won't be anything funny about it after that.

What other car could it possibly give you the results for?

This is a heat check on my ability to troll you, lol.
