meh. I'd prefer gti/gli or cobalt SS. gimme some torque. The civic's huge windshield is a solar gain pain in the ass. A/c has got to be ON in that car. Probably a pretty good long distance car tho... 4/21/2009 3:20:07 AM |

I'm not knocking those that prefer the SI or the high reving NA engines of many foreign marks; just trying to understand the negative tone perceived in the above quote.
Is there a difference in efficiency? I may get a few laughs from this one but is there a correlation with fuel economy in a wide power band car versus one which may have a higher but narrower power band. " |
I don't know where you got the "negative tone". It was a general statement.
The advantage is obvious. You produce more horsepower with a lighter power plant with less displacement. You end up with very little torque which also reduces weight in the transmission and differential. Seems pretty....obvious?4/21/2009 7:46:15 AM |

What the hell sort of babbling bullshit is this?
You don't want a Civic because you turn the AC on?!4/21/2009 1:05:34 PM |

AC robs like 15 horse pressures. That makes a slow car, with no torque mind you, even slower.

Yes, I'm sure that drop in horsepower makes an impressive difference in day to day traffic. 4/21/2009 1:15:08 PM |
