The girl is 24, and I turn 27 two weeks from today. The difference is pretty negligible right now. It was a bit more noticeable when I was 22 and she was 19 though.

it will be nice that we dont have to struggle in THAT way because we are struggling in every other way right now. I'm stuck on the wrong side of the border from our house and life right now, and waiting on a visa blows hardcore.

My BF is exactly one year, one month, one week, one day, and one hour older than me (my full birth date is also a prime number mm/dd/yyyy ) . It's going pretty awesome. Met in undergrad, both started/starting grad school right after undergrad, but I'll actually finish graduate school a semester before him.
At a certain age, I think the gap doesn't matter anymore. More important that you're in similar stages in life and/or want the same things in life.

yeah, our house is near montreal, quebec. we met when he was doing his postdoc in raleigh and did the distance thing after his appointment finished. i moved up there last year kinda illegally, because it is more difficult than you think to move to Canada without a lot of savings (only had about 3K), relevant job experience (my degree was still in progress), or family members (we werent married yet because my parents wanted us to wait and have a nice wedding). but i got FOUND out when i left and tried to re-enter for my wedding. so we got married in the US i tried to get established in burlington, vermont in december, which sucked ass and had no jobs/ stable, non-crazy roommates for me. so i sucked it up and moved back to raleigh and have a job in retail management. we see each other about once every 4-6 weeks right now.

thankfully the US border has not questioned his actions unduly since he held an H1B visa for several years, but i will say that they treated me more rudely than the canadians the first time i was sent away from the border.

yeah, my application was received in the beginning of february. in addition to about 20 different forms and all the ID stuff you would expect, i had to submit pictures of us, letters that said we really loved each other, lists of when we met each others friends, a medical exam, two sets of finger prints with federal and state clearance, and most recently all the court records and disposition related to a speeding ticket i got in 2004, and a short statement about it. i dont know wtf else they could possibly ask from me at this point, so im just waiting.

My lady friend is about 3 and a half years younger than me. We started dating when I was 17 and she was 14. Then I turned 18 while she was 14. In hindsight... I don't know what her parents were thinking. I mean, we had rules about hanging out and going out on dates and stuff... but still.

My husband's only about 2 and a half months older than me though, due to grade cutoffs and such, I graduated HS in 2000 and he in 1999. Right now we're the "same" age though.

Didn't really have a limit - didn't really ever think about it....

I'm "older" than the average person my age, and he's in better shape than most people his age.
Always have gotten along better with those a bit older.

In the end, as long as you're on the same page - - just a number.

Haha my husband is 3 years 9 months older than me. It's perfecto.

Right now. I'm 25 and he's 29 muahahaha.

My parents are 3 days apart - born in the same hospital, they were in incubators near each other. They went to the same schools, etc all their life.

i'm 26 (aug 7 82), he's 27 (aug 26 81). my grandma is 10 years younger than my granddad tho.

i had a roommate who dated a 42 year old (she was 27? at the time). he was a really nice guy and all, but it was always weird...
