Listen, only the eastern NC style of grilling corn is valid.

everyone else with your other methods need to STFU!

i personally don't get wrapping them in foil. it you want to steam em, do it inside. i love the roasted, blackened part of grilled corn. i've even done it straight on an open eye of my gas stove.

when i used to grill at the parents house, we would take the husk off and boil them on the stove, then throw them on the grill. but that's mainly because the grill was usually full of steak or chicken, etc, so there would only be room to throw the corn on at the last minute, when the meat was off and resting.

we had DELICIOUS corn last night.

soaked for maybe 40 minutes

grilled for maybe 30 minutes (until the husk was charred)

then applied salt and butter

it was very tender, sweet, juicy, NOMNOMNOM
