agreed, but i am an end unit, so i have three exposed walls. i lower the temperature at night but only by 2 degrees and that is only for 8 hours so i don't really count it. the ceiling fan upstairs runs almost continuously so it helps the temperature but also eats up the electric.

i would love to have gas

my heat pump runs for months on end, its nice having one less bill to deal with but the thing is pitifully inefficient.
