I'm dead serious when I say this. I think Death Cab is one of the most talented and original bands out there right now. I can understand if some metalhead wants to bash them, but I would be baffled if anyone who truly appreciates music would call them terrible after giving a listen to their stuff that's not on the radio. I've got 7,800 songs in my music library from all types of genres and I would easily put several of their songs in my top 100. Go on iTunes and listen to the clips of just a few of these songs with a good pair of headphones:

I tend to look down on guys in their 30s who make a living sounding like a whiny teenager so that they can sell records to real whiny teenagers. My Chemical Romance comes to mind as well.
