^ They have 2 facilities, an adoption one and then a "lost and found center." I never visited the place but from what I heard from animal control officers it was roughly the same size (maybe a little smaller). Not to mention, they only had the Raleigh area.

It may be different now, but it just always bothered me that they had this stuck up attitude with their "no kill shelter" bit - yet they didn't advertise that they actually did have a kill shelter, where they euthanized a lot of animals. Just be honest, people

it annoys me that any one calls their shelter no kill. most of those shelters get those dogs from other shelters that have already proved the dogs to be adoptable, and if something happens to make that dog unadoptable (biting someone or getting too sick) they just send it to another shelter, so technically they didn't kill them.
