The numbers don't lie...3 winning seasons over the past 10 years.

The sad thing is that the Redskins make money hand over fist and their waitlist for season tickets is the longest in sports. Snyder will not admit defeat on this and he'll continue to have turnover and make shitty offseason moves while any decent football coach will coach anywhere other than Washington.

The only thing that could fix this is if Snyder got his head out of his ass and let real football people run the organization from the top down. He just needs to sit in the press box, get drunk, flirt with Tom Cruise, and let the tradition of greatness and winning come back to DC by people who know how.

I sit directly (= four rows) in front of Snyder's box at FedEx. He didn't poke his head above the railing ONCE until Moss's TD catch. I believe "chorus of boos" covers it.

I thought the second-half Redskins showed promise. Portis ran hard and picked up some big yards up the middle. The D looked stout; only really gave up 6 points (TD was from the 8, and two plays after a turnover). Campbell still had a dumb pick in the second half, but if we build on that half and come out strong against Carolina Sunday, I still think the NFC is wide open after a couple teams (Giants, Saints, Eagles ... maybe Cards/49ers).

How about a little optimism? 2-2 isn't the end of days.

Carlos Rogers needs to quit giving guys ~8yd cushions at the line. Ridiculous.

you might see a little optimism based on the next two weeks' results. 2-2 against 1 really good team and 3 C-USA teams (with the 2 wins both at home by a total of 5 points) isn't cause for much optimism. we have looked good in zero games so far. at least a 4-2 record would show we can (mostly) beat who we're supposed to beat, which is a baby step up.

Looks like there's an NFL rule out there that's as dumb as the tuck rule. Being able to legally shove a blocker into a punt receiver on a fair catch to negate it is the dumbest rule I have ever heard. Absolutely retarded. Special teams and lack of offense cost the Skins in this game, but that one play was the icing on the cake.

I can assure you, however, that no better evidence exists for the braindeadness of Dan Snyder's inability to comprehend the concept of a winning streak than the fact that he fires Schottenheimer in favor of That Dickhead With The Visor after they went 8-3 in their final 11 games after going 0-5.
