ECU friends of mine continually made excuses about how they gave that game to us despite the fact that we earned all of our TDs while one of theirs was a complete fuckup on our part.

which excuses the first 7 minutes or so of the third quarter that the stadium isn't as loud as halftime tailgaters find their way back in

uh sure, but the stadium is much more impressive at kickoff with the stands full. Granted, oftentimes the stadium staff are partly to blame as well.

But doesnt excuse the 7 points the opponent puts on the board while everyone is getting tanked in the parking lot.

Hey, if you can get out to the lot, get a beer, and get back in the stands by the kickoff, more power to you. Its the stupid people that have to walk a half a mile to their car to get a beverage...you KNOW you arent going to make it back anywhere near the end of the half. Besides, its easy to sneak airplane bottles in unless youre a complete idiot, so just do that.
