That's not world leading. (one of the highest, but not the highest)

The Caparo T1 has 1,000 hp/ton.

And I am sure the Koeniggsegg CCXR (1018 hp) is close to 1,000 hp/ton. Perhaps 800, or maybe 900.

There is also the Ariel Atom with 500 hp and Caterham with 500 hp.
