They are allowed to, but the oldest apparently made the choice not to. They don't date though, they court.

And they are responsible money wise with their children. It's just really sad because I know the children don't get the amount of attention they would need from their parents. I'm sure the parents are doing the best they can to love every one of them, but that is some love that is spread real real thin.

A lot of the super right Christians don't date anymore. They court. Many of them don't kiss until they are married. Obviously they don't have sex. Hand holding is considered a very appropriate form of PDA. Often times they will take a chaperone around with them in order to not be tempted to go farther than they should.

I remember some episode where one of the older girls was talking about how she wouldn't kiss til marriage.


When Josh and Anna (his wife) got engaged, there was some awkward side-hug thing going on.

It is quite telling people have problem with this family. They are not using taxpayers' money, they are not living in a trailer, they are not begging for charity, their kids are not criminals, their kids have 2 parents and even more attention from loving older siblings, they are simple people with wholesome lives and family values, their kids are not after the latest cell phone or video game or fashion....

Contrast that with all the single mothers out there of all races who keep shitting out children, living on government handouts, their kids neglected, turn into petty crime, then serious crime, drug dealing, gangsters, etc. And white/black-trash couples as well, who shit out kids and let them rot and be raised by other kids and thugs in the area.

I thought this was the land of the free where you could do what you wanted as long as you weren't bothering others. Guess not.

While I may not agree with their beliefs I do think they are being productive members of society and they are raising their children to be as well. I honestly don't think we have to worry about this family doing a Jon and Kate drama ordeal and I don't think we will have to worry about seeing their kids in the tabloids snorting coke.

Also the woman on the far right is Jim Bob's mother I think.

Believe it or not, some people are willing to raise children with Down's and other such disorders. If they did in fact have a child with a chromosomal abnormality that doesn't automatically make the child doomed for a dismal life. >.>

i hardly think one insane baby factory couple is the arguement for waiting till marriage to touch someone of the opposite sex. I think more of those marriages end in fail because kids get married like right at 18 because they just need fucking release. then they realize they only got married to boink and fail....
