Glacier, Yosemite, and Yellowstone

Badlands. I've seen quite a few... it's one of the better things my parents did for my brother and me. We did several trips out west and actually explored our ridiculously beautiful country. There's just so much to see and so many people never even leave their own home towns!

we're going back to glacier next summer. get one more trip in before we have kids. we're going to backpack for a few days, car camp a few, then spend the last couple of nights in a hotel. god i can't wait. i need to get an ultralight 20+ sleeping bag though.

Did a 70 mile backpack in Glacier last month. I would have to say its my favorite national park but Yosemite is a close 2nd.

A few panoramas I took. I am sure someone will recognize these areas.

If i had to pick a NP I would say Denali park is my favorite that I have been to.

My actual answer is fuck national parks, national forests are where it's at.

glacier was nice enough, but definitely not my favorite

^^ A National Seashore is close enough. Surely you've been to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore?


With all my travels up to Boston, I am really tempted to take a weekend and go visit Acadia in Maine. Thats up there on the list of parks I haven't visited yet but want to.

I've been to a lot of national parks, although not Glacier. I'd say my vote would be between Yosemite and Zion. The narrows were pretty damn awesome, but Yosemite is fresher in my memory.
