Oh yeah, that's true for towels. I thought you meant not to use them in general.

Curse you, quagmire02, I had to go hunting on my own.

But I also learned how to make my own laundry detergent. It's so cheap

i don't use fabric softener with towels cause then it makes them like not absorb as much water. or at least that is what it seems like to me. i probably made that up in my head to justify not purchasing it hahaha.

Since I got a new dryer a few months ago I've been terrible about remembering to clean the lint trap. If my house burns down, y'all know why

LOL

I once bought a bottle of fabric softener, mistaking it for detergent. I washed my clothes with it for about a month before realizing my mistake

being an adult is hard!!

^ I did that once. I realized it before I used it, and ended up trying it the right way and learned I much prefer dryer sheets to liquid fabric softener. So I still have it but never use it. The other day Fareako was doing laundry and I walked by and saw him with a cup of the bright blue fabric softener in one hand and the jug of it in the other looking at me like, "Oh crap this isn't detergent. What do I do with it?"
