I'm a Fox supporter, no doubt. I'm sure other teams will be knocking down his door if we let him go. He's an easy guy to like, and the players obviously love him.
That said, sometimes organizations need a fresh start to move forward. If this season goes like I'm expecting it to go, then I don't think Fox stays. My scenario was more of a "if we suck and Fox is let go, let's hope this happens."
Cowher had two superbowl appearances, yeah ... but the thing that stands out to me is that he had only three losing seasons in 15 years (one 7-9, two 6-10)
I definitely don't want to suck this year, and I don't want Fox to go anywhere. But I'm not betting against it

If this team continues to try to win by giving the ball to Delhomme instead of Deangelo, then Fox, Davidson & others will be out after this season 9/29/2009 3:43:25 PM |

Look there are a lot of good coaches that are unemployed right now that might take this job.
I'd start a short list with A) Cowher B) Gruden C) Shanahan 9/29/2009 4:09:02 PM |
