Here's my homemade bacon cooker. $1.89 for gutter guard and a baking pan. Cook bacon for 15-20 minutes at 400°. It is perfect and not too greasy

that's awesome. i do wish bacon was healthier. turkey bacon just doesn't really do it for me. it doesn't get crunchy enough and it's like eating thin leather strips. (but not in a pleasurable jerky way.)

wtf is up with Taco Bell allowing you to add bacon to any meal for $0.50? Really? Bacon with your burrito? Or how about that gordita... Mmm... I'm sure BACON will make it so much yummier.... 9/25/2009 8:32:38 AM |

i admit- that site is supposed to gross you out, but htere are some things I've seen on there that look freaking awesome (I wouldn't ever make them though simply because I'd be afraid of a 24-hour food coma) 9/25/2009 8:48:08 AM |

Well, I remember one of my favorite things when I was a kid...hotdogs split down the middle and crammed with cheddar cheese and then wrapped in bacon. Broiled to perfection and served on a bun.9/25/2009 9:08:16 AM |

Ok, so it wasn't quite as clearcut as 'oh, excellent. I can eat as much bacon as I want!', but more of a removal of the guilt process >.<" |
Traditional bacon has no regular place in a healthy diet regardless of how it is prepared. Maybe turkey bacon, but only if it's nitrate free like the stuff you get at Whole Foods.

Crispy ain't about time...It's about heat son! It should only take like two minutes.
^ Oh yeah, I miss having crispy bacon on dogs. Haven't had that in probably 15 years.
