Ahhh! So glad someone made a thread about this show. I've been watching this show since this summer, when my best friend told me about it. I'm very into fashion and whatnot, so I really enjoy this show. Whenever (er, more like IF--ha), I ever get married, I would love a dress with lots of "bling," or beads. This may be a weird comparison, but for my prom dress in high school, my dress really didn't look like a lot of other girls' dresses...mine had a lot, and I do mean, a LOT of bead work on it. I absolutely love that. It makes it very special. I can't stand wedding gowns that are so plain and have no pizazz to it!

maybe i can answer this a little bit (wore a trumpet gown)...for everything i did that i needed a dress for (prom, other dances, deb, and ahem...pageant ) i always wore an A-line or ball gown. i didn't want to wear another A line or ball gown. ball gown was out of the question as it is so not me anymore. an A line I would've worn if I found "the one." my only requirement was lace. i REALLY wanted to wear lace, but not strapless, no beading nor bling.

so i basically pulled every lace gown off the rack and tried it on. a big part of me hoped i could pull off a mermaid or trumpet, and lucky for me it worked out.

but all honesty, until you get in the store and start trying on dresses you'll have no idea. my mom and i just KNEW i would look great in a capped sleeve or off the shoulder dress. NOPE! friggin horrible

I personally like these...

The dresses showing alot of necessary skin looks hideous and not very kosher. Its a wedding, not a strip club. What a way to "look at the bride"
