In fact, when looking for a place, just don't rent from Preiss, or Wilson Property Management. "

What's wrong with Wilson? I rented from them for 3 years, and other than somewhat slow maintenance, didn't have any problems at all.

This just in!! People have different experiences! Some people have no problems staying at a place. For someone else it may be a living hell.

Any good areas on the Wolfline that aren't going to be two bedroom type setups?

Seriously, rent a house with friends.

The area between hillsborough st. and wade ave. from Meredith College to Glenwood south is FULL of rental houses. You'll pay the same amount as you would for an apartment in a shitty complex, and get a lot more room, parking, and a real place to live.

Don't get suckered into the garbage mega complexes. They are all far as hell away from campus.

Just go drive through the neighborhoods in the area I just described, there will be signs out all over. You can walk or bike to school from anywhere in that vicinity, it's easy to have friends over, and you don't have to worry about having shitty or loud neighbors sharing a wall with you.

My only real concerns are cost, location, number of occupants, and management. If the cost is low, the location close enough (though no Wolfline makes me sad, I can totally just bike to the Court down Hillsborough), room enough for 3-4 people, and I'm not buying it from a crackhead, then I'd be cool with that.
