Let me guess CBS is going to be showing "Dancing with the Star 11" or old CSI re-runs instead of covering the 49er game or San-diego v Kansas City 11/28/2009 5:20:50 PM |

CBS only has a single game and we get the best they have on the day -- Houston v Indy. 11/28/2009 5:21:56 PM |

yeah if you like peyton manning but that game is at 1pm.
Who draws these convoluted maps. Charlotte gets the 49ers games (which i'd probably watch on my own TV instead of seeing the chargers play at the bar) and a pocket around atlanta gets the SD game at 4. Why would they not just show an early and late game? I am assuming to many middle aged moms would start to PMS but wanted to see the amazing race re-runs.
I seriously would not be surprised to see the fox early game distribution map gerrymandered like a conngressional district; with the Redskin game showing at 1pm instead of the panthers, down here in Wilmington.

the local stations pick the games if there is no local game going on. so, the local stations collectively pick "less interesting" games 11/28/2009 5:31:59 PM |

It's not CBS... it's the NFL. CBS only has one game this week and FOX has the doubleheader.. just the way it is.
When I was in Cali, I'd usually ONLY get the Raiders game at 10am and the 49ers at 1pm or vice versa. They wouldn't even have the second game on competing with one of the others. Sucked ass... 11/28/2009 5:32:57 PM |

As a Jets fan I would like nothing more then to not have to see a Pats game every week. 11/28/2009 7:00:52 PM |

It's not a big deal if the Pats game is actually the best game that week.
Out of this shit-stew of games, I would actually prefer to watch the Patriots
New England @ Buffalo, Miami @ Tennessee, Houston @ St. Louis, Cleveland @ Kansas City
That's assuming that CBS can't air the late game. 12/15/2009 10:14:02 AM |

I just want to say that I live in the Denver market and it sucks ass out here too. CBS typically broadcasts two games a week, but Fox almost never does. Since I'm from NC and follow NFC teams more so than AFC, it really blows.
I drove home from lab on Sunday, listening to the Vikes-Bengals game on Sirius in the car, ran inside to flip on Fox, and found the "Celebrity Dancing 10" reruns. I seriously cannot understand why Fox and CBS don't show two games a week in each market.
It's the most popular sport in this country for chrissakes... 12/15/2009 10:27:36 AM |

^seriously? I keep thinking that when I was still living in charlotte, I got four games most sundays. Hmm, I guess I'm getting old
And if CBS carried the vikings-bengals game, then I guess it makes sense we got stuck with Colts-Broncos... 12/15/2009 10:50:52 AM |

Road team's conference always determines the network
Otherwise, the Fox and CBS would never get to visit the other stadiums 12/15/2009 10:53:09 AM |
