""Actually, I am very very proud of that. It had come to my attention that residents of a certain affluent neighborhood had been attempting to use their "pull" with the local government to keep certain "undesirables" out of their neighborhood. I firmly believe that whenever that kind of behaviour is found, it should be exposed by any means necessary, whatever the cost. I am proud to have had a part in exposing it. Partly because of that expose', those "undesirables" now have a fantastic brand new mansion in south Athens - which I am told they enjoy tremendously.

I feel it is one of the responsibilities of an Attorney to stand up for those whose rights are being threatened - whether it be in housing discrimination, or in the other areas of law that Jones Appellate handles; including race discrimination in employment, governmental suppression of free speech, rights of low-income tenants, rights of fathers, domestic violence victims, just to name a few. I take that responsibility seriously and I am very eager to fulfill it.

I remember, when I lived in Raleigh, that all the students complained about the Nuisance Party Ordinance (aka the Brent Road Party Ordinance) but no one ever actually did anything about it in Court. I am very privileged to be ready, willing, and able to "do something about it" when I see people's rights being threatened. I pray each day that Our Beneficent Lord continue to grant me that privilege.""

As I said before that's all I need to say upon the matter; I am hanging around to simply be entertained by all the other lies you people make up about me. Oh how I miss The Wolf Web

(To be fair though, it was fun to tease that guy about his prophesying)

I'm pretty sure you already have the 'lying about yourself' part covered. No assistance required.

I'm inclined to believe that he's a fucking lying lawyer, who decides what he's going to do, then figures out how to justify it to himself (and/or lies so much that he just does it reflexively, without even really realizing it, whether or not it makes sense).

There is probably a kernel of truth in most of his bullshit, but I think that anything that comes out of this dude's mouth is at least suspect. I mean, he's lying about things that there's simply no reason to lie about.

I suppose it would be a very low blow for me to ask questions of Duke regarding his prejudice about lawyers, perhaps as regards his kid's mother (not his wife, but his kid's mother). And as a professional adult, I have grown above making low blows and cheap digs at people on an Internet website, even people like Duke. It is rather disappointing that Duke has not yet grown to that level, but I'm sure he simply needs a little bit more time. He will get there, we all just need to be patient with him and supportive in the meantime.

But speaking of being a professional adult, it was fun to visit but it's back to real life for me. These cases aren't going to win themselves. (Well I have one that practically will.) I'll be back in a few months to see how many people have grown up past being on The Wolf Web as a full-time occupation and how many people haven't. I have my suspicions...

Did I say that?

I believe I was calling into question why someone would devote their energy to singling out this individual for persecution while giving all the others a free pass. That implies a personal animosity that has no basis in facts.

oh, look.

Wolfpack2K, aka Charles A. Jones, Jr., Esq.,, the good, god-fearin' christian professional has resorted to making snivelling, passive-aggressive personal digs on some other man's family, because he can't defend his own demonstrated lack of moral character.

i dont care where your politics lay -- Capt. Duke, USMC, is far more honorable, respectable, and accomplished than this pasty-faced morass of human flesh stuffed in a suit.

and yes, while it is nice to see an NCSU alum in a court of law and not listed as a defendant, let us recall an even more noteworthy acheivement: that the esteemed Charles A. Jones, Jr., barely graduated from NC State with a 2.4 GPA in Political Science, and yet -- somehow -- went on to get into UGA law school.

now THAT'S impressive .... how did you pull that one off, Chuck? you must have a certain special skill. tell us what it is.

oh, and by the way, good job on pulling a C+ out of that "internet research 101" class. im sure you were focusing more on your core class, what was it... American Political Thought.... oh. C-. hmmm... well, whatever. I'm sure your homies at your Community College are proud.

(note: those are his MS-Paint markings on his own transcript, as originally found in his photo gallery)

Other politicians don't post on the wolfweb, so when we call them out for their shit it gets a brief discussion and then dies. But Chuck and his lackey Solinari are willing, nay, eager to keep the discussion alive. This to say nothing of the fact that there's obviously a personal element given that most of us have talked to the guy.

As I pointed out in the original thread, those three 1-credit courses are ones they require all poli sci kids to take. They're bullshit. The work is about as challenging as kicking an infant, but they assign a really hugely disproportionate amount of it. I know of a number of kids who said, "All this work for one credit hour? Fuck that," and focused their energies elsewhere.

I was one of them, and my grades in those classes were not terribly better than Chuck's. Of course, my grades in other, real classes were considerably higher, because I followed through with "focusing my energies elsewhere."

Something like that.

I mean, the internet research course basically consisted of looking some stuff up on google. They'd just give us some concept to look up and ask us to find some material on it. No problem for anybody who has ever used a computer -- easy as kicking a baby.

But then they'd want you to write a five-page paper based on the material you looked up, presumably to demonstrate that you did, in fact, look it up. And there'd be multiple assignments like this at any one time (especially since the other 1-credit computer classes that went along with it had similar meaningless but lengthy assignments). Each individual assignment is easy as kicking a baby, but you can only punt so many of the little bastards before your leg gets tired.

I realize that all of this is drifting away from the thread's central theme, but my point is this: There are many perfectly legitimate reasons to think that Chuck is a moron, but his grade in those particular classes isn't one of them.

^^Hahaha

I'm a lackey of myself. I made mediocre grades in those courses, too, so it's in my interest to say that doing so doesn't automatically make one a moron.

A C- in American Political Thought, however, definitely makes one a moron. Being proud that you didn't make a D makes you borderline retarded. And being thrilled at graduating with a BA in political science with a 2.4 makes you full retard.

PS 101, 102, 103 aren't required classes anymore. C- in American Political Thought...he either didn't read or didn't go to class. I don't think anyone at NCSU is so stupid that they could make an actual effort in that class and only get a C-.
