i guess the OP was wanting to keep Mini Series seperate from multi-season programming.

Band of Brothers is probably the best thing ever. John Adams was amazing too. but The Wire is probably the best original (non-mini) series

I was the biggest fan of Carnivale. That's still my favorite HBO series. It sucks that they canceled it. It was a little slow moving at times, but a great story.

Man, Generation Kill was amazing...the final episode of that series was beautifully shot. And I three am highly anticipating The Pacific.

Only a troll or someone who is trying to kid himself would assert that john in cincy was good. instead of trying to tell a genuine story, they tried to make some shit that pretentious douchebags could blog about. So, it ended up just being boring and embarrassing.
