We're debating between shades of blue? I was expecting at least some purple jeans or something.

I think that you can get away with purple or yellow if you are either a) swagalicious or b) a gay man.

but for serious, I am a tall skinny white dude (size 31 USA). And I like the jeans at zara and find that they fit me the best.

They are tight fitting, but not hipster tight, and they usually have cool fading patterns and stuff.

Also they are very reasonably priced.

1) European
2) Metro
3) Gay
4) Blind
5) 8 years old

You can get some very tight jeans (spray on basically), seems that is getting more popular with guys, used to be just for females back in the day...oh, make sure you get the pair that has the most holes...or get ones that are like 3 sizes to big and wear them without a belt....so your latest cartoonish boxers are shown to everyone.

Does anyone else hate boot cut jeans? It's hard to find a nice of pair jeans in the colors I like that don't flare out at the bottom.

^ You're in the women's section.

JK

I've found that it's difficult to find jeans that aren't skinny. I hate skinny jeans. Is this the same in the men's department?

Leg style (around calves)- bootcut, straight
Rise (around hips) - low, mid, natural
Fit (around thighs and waist) - loose, relaxed, original, regular, slim

I usually see boot or straight, mid or natural, and loose, relaxed, and regular. I dunno where the other ones get shipped to. Disclaimer: I only buy jeans from Target and Walmart.

I think different brands call their styles different things too.

I don't initially judge a guy for his jeans but the longer we date the more fashionable he becomes. Lol

^^^If you buy cheap jeans (Lee, Levi, Wrangler, etc) it's pretty easy to get jeans just as loose as you want.

Unfortunately if you want a higher dollar pair of jeans they tend to follow fashion (obviously), which means tighter cuts. I have gigantic legs thanks to my football playing days and a regular straight cut on me is as tight as spandex so it's really hard for me to find jeans. Out of all of the different cuts Ralph Lauren had available there was literally only one that worked for me

So yes and no.

I'm a Joe's Jeans fan myself. Yes, these are expensive, fancy-pants jeans... but they are fly as hayle.

My brother is seeing a woman who sells designer jeans and we got into a "discussion" about these things this weekend.

Long story short, the employee discount for the $200 jeans she sells is $160 off. So she pays $40. And they still make a profit.

So, to summarize:
