Wow that was deep. Really, you should write for the post. Are you using the Ronald D. Moore cameo as a reason why it sucked? Seriously?

God and religion has been a HUGE part of the show from the miniseries on. How you missed that - I have no idea. Also - the creative team had the ending planned from season 2 on - its not like they got to the end with no plan (like lost and alias).

Guess you are just are not a fan, or lack the intelligence to process the meaning of the show. Maybe you should try 2 and a half men, might be more your speed.

This is BS, and there is no way they had the ending planned out from season 2, considering the swiss cheese plot.

Ignore him and focus on those giving you valid arguments.

There is a major difference between 'faith' being a huge part of the series and 'God' being a huge part, also your information is wrong. I've seen the commentaries, they started trying to think about who should be part of the final 5 until Season 3. They had no idea they were going to bring Saul's wife back at the point in time.

Mysterious Enemy - Cylons attacking every 33 minutes, wasn't every 32 or 36, it was 33..why? Who cares, they were fucking relentless.

Morally Gray decisions - destroying the passenger ship because they thought the cylons were tracking it somehow?

Hope in the face of destruction - The +1 to the whiteboard at the end of the episode.

I liked "The Plan" actually. I thought it was interesting to see the cylons perspective. I can see why people would have problems with it though.

The story takes place over the entire course of the series but is definitely meant as something to watch after the fact. There are way too many huge spoilers in it to watch if you haven't finished the series.

^honestly this show has an awesome mix. The sci-fi is there, but it's the drama that keeps me coming back. It's not Star-Trek episodic sci-fi, it's sci-fi done right. Gritty, dirty, backstabbing drama.

HALP!

I bought it on Blu-Ray and my Season 2 Disc 2 has a borked episode (Final Cut) that won't play.

I tried to find an appropriate torrent online, but all I could find were TV rips from Universal HD, which are edited down to 40 minutes (from 43-45 mins). I started to watch Season 1 like that while I waited for my box set to be delivered, but the "Previously on Battlestar Galactica..." flashbacks at the beginnings of the episodes had references to a bunch of stuff that wasn't in any of the previous videos so I said "fuck it" and waited for the box set so I wouldn't miss anything.

I'd rather not download an "abridged" version having paid for the whole damn thing. Anyone willing to send the source file "BDMV\Stream\00072.m2ts" to me, or if you're in the Wilmington area loan it to me for a day?
