You sure of that, I don't remember his numbers.

There is a member here who trains at Westside BB. He'd probably be the closest.

[Edited on January 17, 2010 at 8:25 PM. Reason : I'm also thinking that at my current point in re-hab, our numbers are probably very similar]

gym rats spend 330 days out of the year bitching about the obesity problem in the US and then the other 35 complaining about too many people joining "their" gym.

That doesnt make sense. Why would a gym rat bitch about obesity? It only makes them look better.

It's more of them making fun of it...making fun of fat people....but then when fat people go to a gym to get in shape they bitch about them coming to the gym

Just let people live their lives, those people crowding the gym for the first few weeks of a new year aren't hurting you at all.

It's as satisfying to me as, uh, cumming is, you know? As, ah, having sex with a woman and cumming. And so can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am like, uh, getting the feeling of cumming in a gym, I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home, I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage when I pump up, when I pose in front of 5,000 people, I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. I mean, it's terrific. Right? So you know, I am in heaven.

^^that quiz is hilarious

can you bench over 225 pounds?
can you squat over 300 pounds?
can you curl 200 pounds?

curl 200 pounds? WTF?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone at the gym legitimately curl 200lbs. I've seen the hip thrust back bending underhand grip power clean done with that much weight before, but never a curl.

I like seeing new people. I dont mind waiting a little more than average. Lifting heavy shit isnt the most fun thing to do anyways. I would advise anyone who wants to "start somewhere" to start in the kitchen(diet).

You know what someone should do...start a pick up game of some sport...I'll just say soccer cause that's what I'm into...but start a pick up soccer league that is for fat and out of shape people so that they can all get back into shape together...like every year start a new team or something so that people aren't intimidated to join cause they will know that everyone on that team is just as fat and out of shape as they are...

yeah that would be cool...real cool

here's a helpful fitness tip for those of you who work in an office and can't get time for a workout; I do parkour in the office, off the cubicle walls, over the copier, across the tops of the bathroom stalls, its a good workout.

I'm thinking there must have been a local gym near mine that closed down recently, because most of the people that influxed into the gym this month look like they've been on a fairly disciplined workout program to begin with. They don't look like they typical out of breath overweight resolutioners.

I got a gym membership because it got too cold to go to the lake and get my walk on.

I rolled out of bed today all stoked about my first trip to the gym.

Walked out side and it was like 70 freaking degrees and balmy.

Also, I finished my work out about 7 hours ago, and I'm still a little out of breath.
