oh i hate when i delete someone as a friend and they try to friend me back. i found out this one person who i was friends with on fb was trying to add my girl friends who he's never met before and a few of my friends came to me kind of creeped out. so i deleted the guy on fb. a day later, he friend requested me. so i decline. a month later, he friend requested me again. i have him sitting in limbo.

So you can't stalk them and look through their photo galleries. There is no need for a facebook/twitter/myspace account, if you aren't going to use it every now and then.

You can just deactivate it temporarily and when you decide it was a dumb idea, all your stuff is still there waiting for you when you reactivate.
