What if Milk pricing scaled with expiration date? Maybe start out at $1 per gallon and add 20 cents for each day beyond tomorrow that it will remain good.

i caught my sister recently about to make my birthday cake with Nov 30-2009 exp date cake mix, but i wasnt going to have any of that

she got it off the walmart clearance isle some time ago

I don't really look at the expiration dates. Refrigerated stuff is eaten up quickly and if not, I'll throw it out if it looks icky or smells funny. I've seen people throw out perfectly good food just because the expiration date was that day.

Perhaps. I don't remember -- It's been a year since I last opened it.... ...and a few years since I bought it.

It looked, smelled, and tasted normal. But it was bad. Oh, it was bad.

so like when nyquil says exp:12/06 does that mean it is completely not effective or just less effective. like, what is the half life of nyquil?

Probably just less effective.

If it were a decade or more, I'd worry about the plastic bottle it's in.
