What if Milk pricing scaled with expiration date? Maybe start out at $1 per gallon and add 20 cents for each day beyond tomorrow that it will remain good. 3/4/2010 9:35:36 AM |

I don't really look at the expiration dates. Refrigerated stuff is eaten up quickly and if not, I'll throw it out if it looks icky or smells funny. I've seen people throw out perfectly good food just because the expiration date was that day. 3/4/2010 7:31:25 PM |

^^ Perhaps. I don't remember -- It's been a year since I last opened it.... ...and a few years since I bought it. It looked, smelled, and tasted normal. But it was bad. Oh, it was bad. 3/4/2010 7:45:09 PM |

as long as it doesn't smell too terrible or have something physically growing on top, I'll eat it. 3/4/2010 8:47:31 PM |

..and not by that much. (90 - 95%) If it were a decade or more, I'd worry about the plastic bottle it's in. 5/26/2010 8:23:32 AM |
