i meant to do one while i was in DC in the air and space museum, but i forgot my tripod. i was going to do a quick timelapse of people moving around in there. i had planned on shooting the view of the lower level from the second level with a fisheye and having all them space ships and shit flying around. oh well.

we couldn't find his mount for the tripod, we think it may have been in his camera bag w/ his D40 that was stolen 2 months back so we've just got it positioned on the table, so it's not in the ideal position; hope it turns out well

and here it is...our first experience w/ time-lapse.

we're going to charge the camera battery to make sure it's full and do a whole days worth from sunrise til sunset

the one thing i was most excited about was a water droplet on one of the cucumber leaves, but it didn't fall til later

I ended up using Movie Maker like you...apparently Picasa has a problem processing the movie once put together on Vista and Windows 7 (we have 7), so that's why I kept having a problem. It wasn't a user error afterall!

I like that Harrowdown Hill one. Nice combination of timelapse and faux tilt-shift that actually creates a story.

Here is one I made last year. Timelapse-ness doesnt not start until about 1 minute mark, and the real fun stuff is after 1:30
